Her first feature film, Baker, was made in 2011 and shortly after she began working on her next feature film. She successfully raised her film budget via Kickstarter for her film, The Scapegoat made in Venice, Italy.
Besides just working on her own projects, Cathy loves inspiring others to follow their dreams and create their own films and stories. You don't need big budgets to tell a story. Cathy loves working with crews, but has made films entirely by herself too. Never surrender your dreams and always follow your passion is her mantra.
Cathy also co-founded a production company, Globe-Trotting Productions, with her good friend Ian Abadilla.
My next project is going to be a film I'm very passionate about. Something very dear to me as I face my own limiting beliefs on getting older and sometimes feeling like I am running out of time. The truth is this is simply not true. For any of us. As long as we're breathing we still have time to follow our dreams. That's what Camp Love is for me. If you'd like to be a part of this journey and help us fund our first stages of production please click the blue link below to head over to our Seed&Spark campaign. I truly appreciate every single one of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And get out there and make your dreams a reality. Biggest hug!
